We were induced with our sweet baby boy Bobby in the hospital and labor progressed very quickly. Within a few pushes our baby had been delivered and all was well in our little world. Shortly after delivery and getting to know Bobby, my husband and I both felt that something wasn’t quite right. He seemed to be unexplainably fussy and in pain. The first 12 hours of a newborns life are supposed to be restful and relaxed but Bobby would not stop fussing with a shrill scream. This went on for days and after our first day at home, with feedings almost every hour to soothe the pain and no relief in sight, we had grown very weary. The hospital kept telling us it’s colic or gas and we began to believe it but something still felt wrong. Our amazing lactation consultant Kathy from Indy Lactaid came to our home to help support my breastfeeding journey. She quickly noticed his pain and how exhausted we were. I remember her saying, “We do not give a baby’s cry enough credit and your baby is in pain. Would you consider a chiropractor?”
My husband and I didn’t hesitate, of course we will try anything but honestly had no experience or knowledge on chiropractic medicine. This was also on Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend to make things worse, no doctor would consider seeing us and we couldn’t bare for Bobby to continue in pain. Kathy could tell we were wearing thin and quietly reached out to her own chiropractor, Dr. Kyle Peacock. Within minutes she said, my doctor can you see today whenever you’re ready. We could not believe it! We rushed out the door and met him in his office on a Saturday afternoon where he graciously worked on Bobby and explained everything he was doing. He was so very gentle with Bobby while also noticing that he was out of alignment. As he was working on Bobby and saw how much pain he had been in he even offered for us to come on Sunday again if we needed too. We could not believe his generosity and kindness to us. Shortly after we left we saw a complete change in Bobby and can confidently say he is a completely different baby. He was relaxed as soon as we got in the car and has been ever since. He had healthy bowel movements after and was able to rest like we had never seen. Dr. Peacock completely changed our baby boys life at just 4 days old. We could not speak more highly of Dr. Peacock and his chiropractor office, his staff, his knowledge and his gracious care stood out to us immensely. We could evidently see Gods kindness all over this situation and we completely recommend him and his practice!
