“My son is on the spectrum and was really scared and upset about being at the dentist but Dr Joshi was so calm and patient with him and gave me so many good ideas on how to help him to become more comfortable with the dentist and encouraged me to take these steps before we proceeded much further because he did not want to traumatize him from the dentist, which is obviously a huge concern of mine. So, him making these recommendations and having that attitude was super encouraging for me. So glad we went and I will be taking the steps recommended and will be going back in 6 months to see if we can proceed a little further in his examination definitely recommend!!“

“I'm one of the many that was terrified by a bad dentist when I was a kid. I'm very picky about what dentist I go to now. I've only been to see Dr. Ryan once, but was just stunned by how nice he was and how he just seemed like he really cared. Looking forward to staying with him a long time.Update: the Dr. Ryan i was referring to at the time I wrote that has since retired, but lucky for me his son is now a dentist and is now caring for his dad’s patients. I was a tad worried at first about changing to Dr Grant Ryan, but my fears were unfounded. He’s young, but just as kind and is gentle. He also does those little things that are important, like as he’s working he checks in with you, asking, “Are you doing ok” or similar to be sure you’re not having pain or discomfort. I really appreciate that.“
