After taking a break from TKD for 10 years, I wanted to get back into it (and back in shape!) and found Apex Tae Kwon Do. Master Stephen has been a fantastic instructor who fits exactly what I was looking for: kind and disciplined. He has multiple class options that work well with different work schedules and is reasonably priced. When I have to travel for work, he is understanding and works with me to make sure I'm getting the most of out my curriculum. He pushes everyone to do better than they did previously, no matter where they start at. Also, he is exceptionally organized and communicative and maintains a high level of cleanliess.

We love Apex Taekwondo! The instructor takes a whole person approach to teaching. A standard lesson includes stretching/core strengthening, learning forms and techniques, and discussing good moral values. As a bonus, the kids also learn some Korean terminology!
Why we stay:
The instructor is kind and good with kids. We moved to the next town over recently, but we still drive our kid to Apex Taekwondo because we like the teaching style of the instructor.
Our son has been a student of Master Stephen for going on 3 years. It has been a wonderful experience. Stephen has helped build our son’s confidence, discipline, patience and perseverance. Our son has been able to memorize forms and perform kicks that he wouldn’t have been able to do without such a great teacher. We thank Master Stephen and look forward to how our son will continue to progress!
