I first met Katelyn my junior year of high school when she did a custom dress for me. She knocked it out of the park so of course it was no question that when I got married almost 10 years later I entrusted her with my wedding dress alterations. Katelyn is so passionate about what she does and is wonderful at her craft. I had no worries leaving my cathedral ball gown in her care while I put my energy into the other craziness of wedding planning. She really took a weight off our our shoulders and wasn’t going to let me walk down the aisle in less than anything perfect ❤ I will always recommend her to anyone looking for a seamstress! My dress was absolutely flawless on my day. The bustle lasted all night through some wild dancing and I felt so secure in it. I did not have to adjust or pull up my strapless dress all night.
I had gone to two other alterations places and left not feeling comfortable leaving my dress there. Although Katelyn’s price was a little bit more, she has you sign a contract stating the price will not increase even if she thinks something else needs to be adjusted. I can’t say for certain, because I did not go with the other alteration places, but I have heard that the original quote they give does not tend to be the final cost.
