“Words can hardly express what Charlene and acupuncture have done for me. After struggling my entire life with severe anxiety, depression and PTSD, and so many years of going to therapists, trying every medication suggested, even self medicating, I was literally giving up. Upon seeing a new doctor, who confessed he had struggled in the past with similar issues, he suggested I try acupuncture as he had. The first visit, Charlene took the time to really get to know any issues, physical or emotional, and made me feel comfortable as I cried and told her all I had been going thru. On the drive home from my first treatment, I had a sense of calm I couldn't quite explain...so relaxed and peaceful. That night I slept better than ever before...with no medication at all. As I continued with treatments, it was like my mind, body and spirit were healing..the anxiety and sadness were lessening and staying away more with each visit. One day, arriving for my treatment, tears came down again, but this time the tears were those of happiness and gratitude, as I had never known life without anxiety, depression and medication. It is now a year later and I have never returned to taking any type of medication, nor any self medicating. I continue to go regularly to stay balanced and always leave feeling relaxed and able to take on whatever life might dish out. My overall health has improved tenfold.
