Just have to give a good review to this local business that I have patronized for quite a number of years. Unique Tech is a one-man operation run by a nice guy called John that fixes whatever problems your computer has. He has worked on at least 4 of my family's PC's and laptops--primarily debugging them from assorted viruses. He also assisted me heroically on one occasion recovering my hard drive after my PC basically stopped working. I have always found John to be a competent and highly honest individual, and although his rates have gone up he is still way, way cheaper than the Geek Squads of this world. The reason that I won't give John 5 stars is basically that you have to track him down to get his services. Since he is a one man show, out solving the world's problems, he is almost never at his office next to the Crawfordsville train tracks. He doesn't give his cell number out to customers, which forces you to leave a voice mail, and then to come find him at his office when he is back there. When John is freed up, he will solve your problems effectively and quickly. When he is busy, you may need to wait a few days. If you know this, you make alternative plans when your computer is down, and you will be fine. He always solves the problem.
