Inn at Irwin Gardens

We booked a stay pre-New Year’s Eve, at the inn in the WG Irwin Suite. Stacey, the innkeeper, was very gracious at accommodating our request for an early check-in at 3 PM. When we arrived, we parked in the rear guest parking area and were greeted by a flock of beautiful cackling hens. Stacey met us at the guest entrance and pointed us to our room. One of the first things we noticed was how beautifully deckering the house was for the Christmas season. Each room in the house had a Christmas tree and every space was beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Irwin Suite on Nov. 30th. The house had just been decorated for Christmas and was beautiful. The hostess was phenomenal. She showed us the place and answered all of our historical questions and more. We enjoyed dinner at the Taku and then spent the evening enjoying drinks in the large reading room. The gardens were not in bloom, but outside was still beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this B&B and the Irwin Suite!

This place is awesome! And I visited in the fall when the gardens were dried up…Staff is friendly ,place is clean and interesting.. Having Celiac disease they went above and beyond to accommodate and breakfast was amazing ….Enjoyed! Definitely going back..
