Very old Barber shop filled with yester year Chicagoland nostalgia all over the walls. Friendly staff. However I did pay $28 for a haircut which is not a matter of contention, but to feel that that price was fair they should have included some hot shaving cream on my neck with a straight razor finish. A side mission, there is taco joint a couple doors down with a chimichanga worth every dollar spent?
I was raised in Chesterton and now reside in Athens GA. It's always been there under various owners but I needed a cut a couple years ago when I was in town and went here. It was great. Old fashioned barbershop owned by a new school barber, who obviously loves what he does and embodies The Barber. Very reasonably priced as well. Even did the undercut for my daughter's hair.
Chris is a phenomenal barber. Extremely easy to talk to, very friendly, I felt comfortable right from the get-go. And not to mention, my haircut turned out amazing. Would highly recommend, will most definitely be returning in the future. Thanks, Chris!Service: Haircut
