I’ve gone through a lot of therapists/psychiatrists throughout the years and I have struggled to find a single one who has been able to validate who I am as a patient and provide the subsequent personalized treatment for me. That ended recently when I had my first visit with Calvin Thornton.
To say that he took care of me as a patient would be a dramatic understatement. I am a highly sensitive person and someone who struggles to effectively advocate for my own needs. He somehow managed to pull out of me what I wanted to say while being direct about what he could reasonably do on my behalf.
