After an awful experience with an emergency hospital, Hazel Dell treated my dog like family. We went to them for heavy breathing, eye troubles, bloated stomach, fever, and lethargy. They surrounded him with care and concern and spoke to me with empathy. They made sure I understood what they were doing with each test and showed me how they came to conclusions about my baby's health. The pricing was reasonable (a fraction of what the emergency vet quoted me) and each team member was kind and friendly. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Coverdale. Great first experience with this practice and with Dr. Rosenbaum. The staff was kind and friendly. Dr. Rosenbaum was very sweet. I appreciated the separate entrances and exam rooms - one for dogs and one for cats. It always made the visit even more stressful for my cat when we had to wait for our appointment in an area with a bunch of dogs at our previous veterinary office. I also appreciated the quick check out in the exam room versus the front desk - very convenient and considerate.
We take our dog to Hazel Dell Animal Hospital, and they are simply the best. The atmosphere is welcoming from the minute you walk in, but what I appreciate most is the continuity of care.
It is rare to find a team that does its homework like this. Whether we are there for a routine check-up or something minor, they have clearly reviewed our history before seeing us. They don't need to ask a million questions to get up to speed—they already know our dog and health history inside and out.
