We couldn’t be happier ... my wife wanted a fireplace in our last house in Maine, but there was simply no room for one ... now we have relocated to Indiana ... the gas fireplace here wasn’t working in the house we bought and she was very disappointed ... so we called Jim at Certified Sweeps (3 different friends had recommended them) ... Jim and his crew came and installed a Valor Radiant Gas Fireplace insert (we choose the river stone insert feature), repaired our nearly 100 year old chimneys, lined both chimneys (fireplace chimney and gas furnace & gas water heater chimney) and put attractive protective caps on both chimneys (to keep the bloody neighborhood raccoons out of them) ... Jim and his crew are professional and respectful ... they always wore face mask, put floor coverings down, and cleaned up after themselves ... we had quite a bit of work done and feel we paid a fair price and it was on budget ... we didn’t feel pressure from Jim on our initial consultation ... he gave great advise on the style of gas fireplace that would work for the style of our home and living space ... Jim has a portable “office” he comes with so we had a printed bid before he left ... When you call the office, you get to talk to Michelle - she is an absolute joy to communicate with ... she stays on top of scheduling and stays in contact ...
