I started going to Rio back in August when it had just changed ownership. My nails were shortened down to the quick, and I had a goal of growing them out nice and strong. I had a discussion with Paul about what the best choice would be for someone who was really hard on their nails, and we decided together on a dip powder overlay. I could tell after one manicure that this was the best choice for me. It allowed me to protect my natural nails while still having a pretty overlay on them while they were growing stronger. I don’t have to worry about being too hard on them, because the dip powder is incredibly strong and hasn’t broken once in four months. We are now in December, and I can’t believe how good my nails look. The growth has been incredible, and the nail underneath is so strong and healthy. Now that I’ve been there multiple times, I have an opinion on shaping and length and they always listen to my feedback with open ears. Yesterday was the first time I actually had to request they file them back more, because they were getting too long. There’s a first time for everything. 😂 I’ve come to know the staff and their stories so it feels like family, but I’ll be honest, they were incredibly kind from the very first appointment, before they even knew me. I’ve never had an issue getting an appointment, from last minute calls to scheduling weeks out around the holidays. I’ve seen them work in walk-ins, and they just make it work or politely decline. It’s been fun to see Paul’s business thrive. I’ve seen everyone there; Paul, Lucas and Lin. Everyone does great work, and I’ve always walked out happy with my nails. I figured that after four months of consistent visits, it was probably time I left a review. Happy to see your business grow, Rio.
RIO NAILS AVON this is easily my favorite nail salon. I have been going here for a few years now and have always been left satisfied! They have recently switched owners and, YES! The quality is still amazing. I have been in for two sets now with the new owners. They have made me feel so welcome and comfortable while getting a set done. They actually care about the health of my nails and have given me tips on how to protect my nails. I’m just glad I have people I can trust:) I know I will always get an amazing conversation and a gorgeous nail set when I visit! I 100% recommend Rio nails to any one who wants good quality nails and good quality people:)
