“I went to Jamie for a scalp ritual & haircut. She actively listened to all my scalp concerns without judgement. She took all my haircut notes and gave me the perfect trim. She’s the first person who I’ve told “please keep the length” and actually followed through! Her space is warm and calming. The scalp ritual was divine. She used a camera to show me my scalp & explained how to care after the session. She never pressured me to buy products, and afterwards sent me an email of all the products discussed. She even included some DIY recipes! As I left she gave me the cutest thank you set with samples of what she used on my scalp, a bath salt, & chocolate truffle. If you have an itchy or flaky scalp treat yourself to a session.“

I have gotten my hair colored for many years and always felt like no matter how well I explained what I wanted, past stylists couldn’t bring it to life. Maggie gets it right every time and also genuinely cares about my hair health! My hair is at it’s most beautiful since going to her. Give her a chance and you won’t be disappointed.“

“I am a 14 year old girl and Ive never been to a salon before today and holy moly let me tell you. I'm very protective of my hair and scared to even get it done by people but she did amazing! I would add a photo but it's late, everyone who was there where super nice and was truthful to me and even curled it for free. Speaking of free it's pretty much free to get your hair done here like 15 for layers and free curls!? That's nothing compared to the places I've been to, she even offered me if I come back in the next week to get more off my layers (forgot to mention that I got a butterfly cut) that it would be free, like I would 100% come back and do my hair here! Very cheap, truthful to you (which in my opinion that is a great thing to have in a stylist) and overall sweet and kind to you plus make you feel welcome when you walk in! Please try this place out it's amazing!“

“I headed out to Total Hair & Tan to pick up a bottle of tanning lotion as I was going to spend the day sunbathing. Marilyn suggested I try the lotion called "Vacay Vibes." The packaging already had that fun summer feel to it so I was ready to try it out. I opened the bottle to just get an idea of the scent and was immediately transported to an island. The smell was absolutely intoxicating with hints of coconut and watermelon. It really made you feel like you were on vacation.The price for the lotion was reasonable and perfectly priced.Once I got home that was going to be the real test. Sure it smelled like a summertime cocktail but would it work well?The color of the lotion was a beautiful brown color than resembled melted milk chocolate and was ready to give you a bronze color without even stepping out into the sun.The lotion itself felt amazing. It blended perfectly with my skin leaving it feeling soft and hydrated. The best part was it had little to no oily residue (which I have a problem with most lotions.) It truly felt so good on my skin I'm almost wanting to use it as a daily moisturizerAfter a day out in the sun this particular lotion keeps it scent as well as continuing to keep your skin hydrated and soft.So far the only bad part about the "Vacay Vibes" lotion is that it feels and smells so great I want to use it everyday!Services: Shampoo & conditioning“

“Ruth (owner) is just the ABSOLUTE SWEETEST. My grandson was cut pretty badly by a different stylist at a different salon when he was 3 or 4 and he was scared to death of getting his haircut after that.
We went to several different places and I explained to each one that he had been cut pretty bad and that he was a Squirmer because of it.

NO ONE had the patience for his fidgeting. We came to Ruth and the very 1st time she Cut my grandson's hair she was SO caring and compassionate, and she just went with all of his WIGGLES & FIDGETS & Even more than that, she treated him like a HUMAN (He talks a lot and she listened) As where other stylist, just wanted to get him out of the chair. We haven't taken him anywhere since we found Ruth (He isn't scared anymore and he's not as fidgety because he's older, but he still LOVES Ruth)

I will NEVER forget the compassion she showed to my grandson & Continues to do EVERY time he's in her chair (OH) AND She also does a great job on his hair ... Looks GREAT Every single time and she's always willing to do his little lines he likes on the side. Can't go Wrong with Billings Hair Shack In my opinion.“
