I always walk out of her suite loving my hair! Whether it’s curly hair, color, blowouts,or updos she is amazing! She is patient and understanding and helps you figure out what will look best! Plus after all these years it feels like I’m catching up with a friend every time I’m there! Oh and she has a recommendation for someone for ANYTHING you could possibly need :)
From the time when I was a toddler, I have always had curly hair. I embraced it for years, keeping heat damage to a minimum, but I could never really style it exactly how I wanted to. Last November, I FINALLY tried my first DevaCurl products: no-poo original and arc angel gel. Immediately I saw a difference. I purchased a few more products and started experimenting. I've been going to Christina for Devacuts for about 3 years. She is the most experienced stylist in Chicagoland doing the Devacut method, and it shows in her results!! About 6 years ago a lot of my hair started falling out. Come to find out I have some autoimmune diseases that were wreaking havoc on my body. My stylist at the time recommended I stop using any heat or chemicals on my hair. Mind you, my hair style at the time was accomplished using a hair dryer and flat iron almost daily, and bleaching the top half of my head.
