This is a great organization and a huge help to some great kids that need jobs.You are a fool if you are paying 50.00 for a gallon of paint, when u can get the same quality for less money.Chris u have a great idea.

So glad to have found a place that will recycle paint! The City of Chicago only recycles oil-based paint but I was able to drop off (15) 1-gallon buckets of latex paint to Earth Paint to recycle (for a very reasonable fee). Drop-off was super-easy. They also sell paint for a fraction of the cost of retail if you want to buy paint.

Bought from them months ago, totally worth it. Super friendly and, with a month's heads up, they offered to make a color that nearly matched what we were looking for. The pre-mixed paint we bought had a funky smell (too much primer?), I was worried it was going to be an issue. I had it checked by a Sherwin Williams person and someone at a hardware store and they said it was probably good, just weird. Took the risk, the smell stayed for a few days, but aired out. Same for the other mixes, needed a few days, but we had the time to wait. Recommend getting 2L buckets and strainers because the paint is clumpy.
