Feels a little sketchy when off the bat a company is lying. Retro Plumbing is falsely claiming Winnetka as a place of business to appear in more Google searches. 724 Elm Street is a string of closed businesses, there is NO Retro Plumbing location here.

I live near Evanston and the issue I had is that my landlord would not pay for a leaky valve that is near the sink in my bathroom. So either I could fight it out with the landlord for a few months or not have a leak on my floor. There was a nominal fee for a technical person to come do a quick estimate. I believed that the sinks constant drip drop that would not stop and contributed to a small noise that can stop a person from sleeping if you were not thinking about anything else. I was told the valve had been there for at least 20 years and subsequently during a minor repair sone years ago it had been unscrewed and then screwed back in but not as tight as it should. And so I was glad to have them take care of this issue which took less than an hour. I'm grateful.not to hear that drip that kept me up at night.

I was looking for a plumber in Winnetka for my business, as we had our pipes freeze over the winter and we were desperate to get them fixed so that we didn’t have to close for an extended period of time. This company got us a plumber quickly, got our pipes fixed in no time, and probably saved us hundreds of dollars by letting us avoid closing. Highly recommend them!
