Tapping was my absolute favorite thing to do as a child and I even continued taking classes thru my early adulthood. Then my children and work got in the way and my tap shoes spent a decade collecting dust in my closet. Months ago one of my Pilates instructor was raving about her adult tap class at SNAP and a fellow tap lover and I decided to check it out. They have 2 classes during the week - Fridays at 1230pm and Tuesdays at 715pm. Both aren't ideal with my work and carpool schedule, but I was able to make it to the class twice. My daughter has danced at SNAP since she was 2 years old. At 9, she still calls it her "happy place." They create a great community for the children. The teachers are wonderful, and Mr Mike at the front desk is beyond delightful!
I cannot speak highly enough of my daughter’s experience at SNAP over the past 3 years. It is amazing to see her at the age of 9 already learning the value of hard work, dedication and teamwork as a member of the company. The studio is a nurturing environment where she feels safe and accepted even if she is having a tough moment. Ms. Pamela leads by example and imparts upon all her dancers the importance of kindness and empathy, while still pushing them to be their very best. SNAP is a very special place and my daughter is very lucky to be a part of it!
