We were part of Autism home support service until last year when ATG bought that company. My son was getting ABA therapy for the last 14 years without any major issues. ATG doesn't have proper staffing..they treat kids like cash cows forcing the kids parents to 18 hrs of therapy commitments and then turn around and assing only therpaist that are students and with little experience. If you resist they let you go istead of working with the parents and finding good therapists. They talk big but underperforme..they are mainly interest in making money.
Here is my families experience with ATG. We came to them because they acquired our former ABA company. We were so comfortable with our ABA team (as many families are with the BCBAs and RBTs they form working relationships with) we happily moved with this transition. In a few short months the staff drastically reduced down to a handful of people. A team of BCBAs went down to one single person. The staff of RBTs that knew my child and her behaviors were gone virtually overnight. My family was in the very uncomfortable process of contesting an insurance appeal. If you look over my review history, very rarely have I ever considered giving such low reviews. I typically have the mindset of if I have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.However, my experience with this company has been so poor, I can't avoid but sharing in the hopes that other families will think twice.The company I was receiving services from prior to ATG was Invohealthcare, and while they were not perfect (mostly billing issues) they were a great company. When ATG bought the company, I was initially excited and looking forward to positive changes, even if they had the offset of growing pains.
