Dr. Romaniv is a great doctor. Very detailed orient, explains my diagnose so I understand what is going on and listens to me. I would have given her 5 stars but she was late to our appointment due to being delayed at the hospital. I understand that patients at a hospital take precedent and I'm fine with that. It shows her devotion to the care to her patients.
Simpson Eye has provided vision care to my family for many years. They have had great succession of doctors. Most recently, Dr. de Guzman gave up some of his Saturday evening to confirm and refine a vitreous detachment diagnosis we received from an ER doctor at Sherman Hospital. Concerned that it could be or lead to a retinal detachment we were worried. He opened the office to see us, confirmed a posterior vitreous detachment (PVD), and provided good advice on follow up care. Above and beyond - thank you!
I just had my cataract surgery with Dr deGuzman. What a fantastic experience! He was very professional, kind and gentle. I am a 71 year old female that was totally afraid of cataract surgery and I couldn't have been more wrong to fear the surgery. I cannot believe how well I can now see! Thank you everyone at Simpson Eye!
