I'm allergic to some materials like silicone and soft nose pads, so I was glad to find a place that offers glass and metal nose pads. You can have your optical provider switch them out for you, just make sure you know the size and type (screw in or pop in) you need before ordering.

Who knew that there's a store (online) devoted entirely to nose pads and accessories for eyeglasses/sunglasses?! Totally random! I stumbled upon this business while searching the web for nose pads for my glasses. I had tried most of the eyeglasses stores in my immediate area and none of them had the correct nose pads that would fit my glasses. Initially I just needed clear silicon adhesive nose pads to stick on a pair of plastic frames that kept sliding down my nose. All the stores could offer were thick white/flesh-toned foam nose pads which would've looked horrible on my glasses which were dark brown.
