we were given Thrifty nickel handyman name by a friend , Nancy came gave us a estimate, they started the work 2weeks before Christmas the Men came early Johnnie and Angel they were very professional and polite, they did a awesome job wow we are so please5with the work and we would recommend them the work was professional, they cleaned up after themselves they were friendly (they didn't mind my husband asking questions Lol Haha) oh I forgot we had our downstairs done , we will be calling them again real soon Mrs. T Miller
I recently used Thrifty Nickel Handyman and found their prices reasonable and their team both friendly and professional. I would recommend them, but I suggest asking plenty of questions before starting the work. I purchased a new light fixture to replace an old one, but after removing the old fixture, the technician discovered the new one wouldn't fit. He reinstalled the original fixture, but I was still charged $75 for the reinstall. Had I known, I would have waited until I had a new fixture. Overall, great service, but just be sure to clarify all details upfront.
We strongly recommend Thrifty Nickel. On very short notice, they were able to, at a last minute request from us, paint the entire outside of our house, our shed, and three bedrooms. We wanted to sell our home, and didn’t have much time. They made some changes in their schedules, and two of their painters, Johnny and Victor worked late and on Saturday to help us meet our deadline. The painters did a great job. They also built a really nice deck over our front entry step. They did a great job, and fast too! And at a very reasonable price. We would not have been able to get our house on the market, and to subsequently purchase the new home we wanted without their timely help. This is the third time we have used them over the past several years. They have become our trusted go to handyman guys.
