My daughter has been taking classes at IDC for over 2.5 years now and I can't say enough great things about Alyce Keaggy-Brinkmann and my daughter's overall experience there! Alyce is incredibly talented and takes personal interest in all her students, supporting them to achieve whatever their goals are. Whether the student wants to dance full-time professionally or just wants to do it as a part of their life, they can get amazing training at IDC. My daughter loves the camaraderie among the students and has made many close friends. The staff is great to work with and all the teachers are all high-quality professionals. One thing that makes IDC unique is it's affiliation with Illinois Youth Dance Theater (IYDT), a non-for-profit organization that puts on full ballet productions 2 times a year (The Nutcracker in December and another show each Spring). This gives the participants (mostly IDC students) the opportunity to showcase their talent in an actual production. It's an amazing experience for the dancers and great entertainment for family members and people who live in nearby communities. We love IDC and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place for their child to take ballet. It's a perfect combination of technique, support, mentoring, and fun for students of all ages. For children who aspire to pursue ballet professionally - this is THE place to train in the Northwest suburbs! Alyce's track record of training students who go on to join professional companies speaks for itself.

We are very happy with the training our children receive at IDC. Their attention to detail is like no other along with their patience with little ones. Our daughter's dancing significantly improved since we have been at this studio and we couldn't be happier.
