“Three of us were meeting for lunch, so I suggested the East China Inn in Warrenville, one of my long-time favorites. We ordered from the Lunch Menu and started with hot tea, then we enjoyed the egg drop and hot and sour soups. We also ordered crispy egg rolls, which were served with sweet and sour and hot mustard sauces and cost only $1.00 each. Then, our entrees appeared. My egg foo young with chicken, beef and shrimp was accompanied by a large mound of white rice, while my friends had spicy-hot Szechuan dishes with fried rice. Our oversized meals were totally enjoyed by all of us and we had plenty of leftovers to carry home. To sum up our visit; delicious dishes, great quality, low prices, pleasant surroundings and good service.”
