My husband passed away a year and a half ago. These people were so helpful and confronting. He was the first person in our family to be cremated and no one knew what to expect. Plus, when I went a a cruise to bury him at sea, I didn't have the proof that the container was biodegradable. I called them from Mexico and they contacted the manufacturer. They were able to fax the information to the cruise line and to my relief, the burial took place.
On top of the grief that comes with the loss of a mother, handling the final arrangements can be a tremendous stress. Northern Illinois Funeral Services helped through the entire process of loss, mourning and most importantly treated our mother with the dignity that she deserved. Cathy and Carol showed compassion, respect and treated us like family, giving us peace of mind and closure. We never felt rushed or prodded and they helped every step of the way.
