I have been going to Hair unlimited for over ten years and I would recommend them to anyone nearby (they are now on St Charles Rd. in Villa Park, not Elmhurst). What they don't always make obvious from the listing is that this is a full service barbershop and salon for men, women and children. Emily has been doing my hair since the start, but after being around them this long, I would trust the entire staff to keep me well-groomed. Emily is excellent at what she does, is considerate of her clients' time and very personable to talk to. I would definitely give them a try!

I have been in the area recovering from surgery and I needed a hair cut and color. I found the reviews for this salon on Yelp and felt that it would be a safe bet. I called on Saturday morning and was actually able to get an appointment for that afternoon. Kim did my color and cut; she was very good about asking how I wanted things done. I was pleased with the end result. I would definitely go there and have Kim do my hair again. The price was reasonable too.

I booked a last minute appointment (thanks to someone else's cancellation) with Emily at Hair Unlimited based on a coworker's recommendation. She completely salvaged my hair from a terrible cut I received a few months ago and did absolutely EVERYTHING I asked of her in terms of the new style. I'm as pleased with my hair as the cuts I've paid $40 more for, and Emily is as nice as they come. I'm shocked that she was able to bring my hair back from it's previous disaster stage in just one cut, and I feel like I owe her double what she charged me.
