I needed to have a dress repaired (because a different alteration company ruined the fabric). The dress was a beautiful green satin, and I wasn't very hopeful that it would be repaired. Brian looked over it and said he would do the best he can, but couldn't make any promises since the dress even said to "spot clean only." He gave me a 2 day estimate to pick it up, which was perfect since the wedding I was wearing it for was less than a week away. When we came to pick it up, it was FLAWLESS. It looked BRAND NEW. Being new to Chicago land area and most selective as to how and by whom my clothes are drycleaned I gave Hafer's a try after some unsuccessful attempts with others- with a single sweater. And I became a loyal client I understand why people travel a distance to have their dry cleaning done @ Hafer's it is,simply excellent, not too mention that its owner Ray always greets you with a welcoming smile with nothing being to much for him to provide you with service and perfectly cleaned, fresh smelling like new clothing.
