Rural America is in crisis. The great American barber shop is dying off throughout the small towns in the Midwest. Ron's Barber Shop to the rescue! I happened to drive through Toledo and noticed the barber post with an "open" sign. Most places don't take walk-ins anymore which is horribly inconvenient. Imagine, a shop open on a Saturday afternoon ready to take all shaggy heads. This is a bright, cheerful place right on Toledo's quaint Courthouse Square. It is kept very clean and neat. Convenient street parking. Got a great clipper cut and my discerning wife fully approved of my hair. This barber is careful and friendly. Finally, only $10 for a cut and $3 for a beard trim, which is far too cheap, so please tip generously. There are very few places like this left.
This is the way a beauty salon should be run!!!! Everyone in the shop is so nice and bubbly. Walking in this salon was so warm & inviting. From the shampoo girls/guys to the beauticians, everyone was friendly. Everyone remained professional and polite. This was my 1st time here, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to go back! Everyone worked quickly to get their clients in & out. Definitely not a hoodrat meeting spot. I loved the environment.
Autumn is very nice. She has a great place, that is easy to fine, outside of Toledo, IL! Very reasonable rates.
It has been a long time since I have treated myself to a hair transformation. I came to get my hair cut and the next week a color. I love these girls at Hair Fx. The environment is fun, relaxing and entertaining! I think I have found my new salon!!
