This is not my usual vet but mine could not fit me in. This place has online appointment setting. Just look and see what you can do and confirm it. I was able to get a same day appt and they gave me some meds and by that evening he was very clearly feeling better. I’m thinking about switching to this one since it is closer to me.
My cat has a autoimmune disease and they have bent over backwards to try to help him feel better. The doctor that had been taking care of him has done research on different medications that work for dogs to see if it's possible to work on cats. I really appreciate all the extra stuff she has done for my cat to try and make him more comfortable and to relieve the pain he's constantly in. I would recommend Danville Small Animal Clinic to anybody that needs a caring, considerate and not terribly expensive vet. They are amazing to work with, you won't be sorry.
I'm thankful , and the employees are nice as can be, me and my dog always feel welcome. But a twenty minute visit to be reassured I was worrying over nothing only to be given a shot to decrease itching that would have went away on its own, and be charged an unexpected 200 dollars is very suspicious. When I made the appointment, I was scared, even though I've had my dog for three years , this is still a new experience for me and I know i can worry too much and overthink things. This almost felt like those factors were well known.
