Our furnace stopped working during the night in below zero temps. We called Smith-Dahlquist and a tech arrived in less than a half hour and fixed the problem in about twenty minutes. The pricing was also really reasonable. We really appreciated the fast acting and high quality of work from Evan. They saved us from a VERY cold night!
I had been told by someone hired to look at my dryer (it appeared to be leaking oil) that there was a leak problem with my roof dryer vent, not the dryer. Dahlquist checked it out. As it turned out, it WAS the dryer leaking liquified grease; the roof vent was fine. They cleaned out lint impacted under the filter (this took 20 minutes) and showed me how to do it. I still have to have the dryer checked out for bearings or belt issues, but these guys (Mick & partner) went above and beyond. Great service!
Been going to these guys for years for HVAC stuff, cannot recommend them highly enough. Always prompt, always straight forward, they explain the whats and whys of everything they do or what is wrong, and every price is perfectly reasonable. Genuinely good company and crew.
