I had a visit today with ophthalmologist, I’m forgetting his name. I was in a rush to get some support and even though they didn’t take my insurance, I chose to still meet. I am so so happy I did!!! I was extremely anxious during my appointment and he took the time to sit with me and give me all of the reassurance I needed. So so grateful for his time and patience with me. Will definitely come back!
Three stars for the Doctor I saw on my December, 2023 visit, I would give him five stars if this review were just for him. I would only give two stars for my experience purchasing glasses and TRYING really hard to purchase contact lenses from this office. I picked out frames based upon what I was told my insurance would pay. Based on that amount, my budget allowed me to purchase the more expensive frames. Then I received a call in February telling me that they made a mistake on my insurance and I owed them $153.00! Now let's talk about how extremely difficult it was to pick up my glasses, I was unable to pick them up for a whole month due to the hours this office keeps. Their website hours are incorrect and they freely admit that. They seem to be only open a couple days a week and the days don't seem to be consistent. No evening hours for people who work, some Saturdays. Next I wanted to order contact lenses in the new year when my insurance renewed. I called on a Friday, left a detailed message with the receptionist - including my phone number. I was told by her that I would get a call back within 24 hours. Well by Tuesday I called again, left a detailed message with my phone number, their voice mail message told me that I would get a return call within 24 hours. Then I called again on Thursday since I didn't hear from anyone and I left a short message. I did get a call back - saying that my number was incorrect in their system and that is why no one called me - although I had left two messages with my correct phone number. Then they asked me for the $153 extra due to their mistake. Wow, just Wow!
A great person working with this firm. Her name was Carey. Guided me through proper steps although I called to make appointment. She helped me suggest otherwise that would save me money and proper next steps.
