Mr D is amazing with the kids, he makes learning fun! My daughter has been going for almost a year and loves it. Two classes are never the same. This is no contact so we don't have to worry about accidentally getting hit. Great place!

Great place for building your child. I love that the emphasis is not on just getting belts but also on the overall development of the individual. It has been a great experience for my son!!

Mr D has been teaching karate in Springfield for ever. Even though his focus is on fitness, fun, and self defense, we have students and instructors that compete at the state, national, and international levels through USANKF and WKF. What sets Shudo-Kan apart from other schools, is we don't have to sign lengthy contracts and most of our students participate in other sports besides karate. Shudo-Kan Karate Club has become my second family since moving to the Springfield area.
