They came when no one else would even return the call! When we called for a 'concerning electrical issue' in our home, they scheduled for immediate service. Assuring us that the issue wasn't life threatening and explaining thoroughly what needed done. The service guys on site were great. Professional and timely in their assessment and diagnosis of the issue. The owner and office both kept in great communication and when we called to schedule for them to come at a later time for the repair to be complete, the turn around time was super quick, the job time was faster than expected (even the Ameren portion was coordinated and timed perfectly!) We have had many negative interactions with trades companies in the area, and by far this was the most perfect example of how its 'supposed to go'. From first call to job completion we were absolutely thrilled with the service, response and communication of Carmean and it was very well worth the money working with them. They will be my go-to for any future electrical needs!
The whole process from project design to cleaning the work area was stress free. The work crew were very courteous and answered all of our questions. There was some minor damage to one of the walls which they pointed out to us and said it would be repaired at their expense. My home definitely feels safer from Carmean Electric’s work. They have performed two jobs at my home. After I moved into a new home, wiring in my basement was repaired and a dangerous issue was resolved. The problem did not reoccur. More recently, my fan motor broke, and electrical arcing and smoking occurred. The broken fan was removed and my new fan was installed. Exposed wiring near the fan was also covered so again, my safety was prioritized. Finally, I’d like to compliment the professionalism of staff, they were on time and performed great work.
