“I initially went to the appointment expecting my bra length-long curly hair to be cut into a long 90 style Bob on top of the shoulders. I had a lot of frizziness and some breakage so I was open to going very short. My stylist Rachel G. cut it perfectly and at first I was a little stunned at how short my hair was and I was freaking out. But I am so glad Rachel cut my hair. She did an amazing job. Gave me an amazing silk press. She was super gentle. Super personable. I love my hair. A week later my silk press is still intact. The frizziness is gone. “The entire staff is so friendly! Had my hair done a few weeks ago and Ana did an amazing job! She was doing my hair while I was getting my nails done at the same time. Incredibly happy with how my hair turned out!! First time going back there vs Beauty and the Beach so was obviously nervous at first but it was a great experience from start to finish. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I was quoted $101 with very long hair and it was almost triple that at $356 with the 10% off for being a gym member at Grit (and also included the $40 gel polish on my natural nail) but as far as service and quality, 5 stars across the board.“

I left another nail salon, mid-service because of terrible service and attitudes, and luckily stumbled across Cal City Nails, when no other salons would help me because it was 7pm. Leslie was able to fix the lumpiness of my nails from the other place, offer me a discount on my next service, and only charged me $20 to make everything right and make me feel better again. If you want great service, a thorough job with a little laughter, and endless compliments on your nails, go see Leslie and Harry! They are absolutely THE BEST!!!“
