Dr Henja is great, but MY GOD the admin is horrible. So much so that it’s a deterrent to even going with him. I had surgery a week ago and was supposed to have a follow up 10 days later. His office does not answer the phone or return calls. I was never given the surgery time, but was assured 3 different times prior to the surgery that I would receive a call the night before. Never received any calls. Doc - if you see this, you’re either taking on too many patients or you need to up your admin staff significantly. This is brutal.
Update-they also charge you a $20 fee for any paperwork needed, like checking 3 boxes for FMLA

In April of 2023 Dr. Hejna replaced by left knee with excellent results. He has replaced both of my husband and sister's knees with great outcomes. Dr. Hejna is exremely skilled, kind, and truly one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the Chicago area. He will be replacing my right knee soon, as I wouldn't have any other surgeon touch it!

Dr Hejna Is amazing he has performed surgeries on a few friends and family members. He also performed both total knee replacement on my mother. Everything went so smooth. I highly recommend him. He is very empathetic and is very concerned about his patients. Thanks to him people get a chance to have a better quality of life.
