This company steals your money for background check and appraisal if your home doesn't pass inspection and rushes you into giving them a payment when you are not done inspecting. No refund still never got appraisal done.
I wasn't expecting such a horrible experience when I contacted Dan for a quote and cost estimate on a mortgage. I was referred to Dan by a realtor at Baird & Warner. I received the estimate of closing costs along with a mortgage rate and compared them to two other lenders. Although the closing costs were in line with the other two lenders, Dan's mortgage rate was much higher. When I contacted Dan to let him know I decided to go with another lender, I received an email response, "that's too bad, I could have locked you in at 6.25%" which was over 1% lower than the rate he quoted on the estimate sheet. No phone call, no text, no nothing to let me know that the rate went down (although I firmly believe he could not deliver on that low of a rate) or that if we locked in, the rate could be as low as 6.25%. Nothing. I found his behavior to be disrespectful and petulant. Considering the other review I Dan, I think Baird & Warner should stop recommending him. We can't be the only 2 clients with a poor experience with Dan.
I was referred to Dan by a realtor at Baird & Warner. Unfortunately, my experience with Dan was unpleasant. When Dan returned my call he was very rude, and when asked what's my price range I gave dan a general amount I thought I could afford after already having 1 soft pull with another mortgage company. Dan began to laugh at my response. This laughter was followed by a few smart remarks. He then proceeded to tell me what I was looking for was impossible. It's not what he said, it's how he said it, very disrespectful. I had spoke to the realtor at Baird & Warner earlier today and an agent from another mortgage company who both seem to think they can assist me with finding a home within my price range. So i was caught off guard with his slick remarks and abrupt giggles. I was only following the realtors advice, which was to call a few lenders and figure out which one I want to work with. I then thanked him for his time and ended the call. I'm big on positive energy and I decided i did not want to proceed with the soft inquiry due to his statements and demeanor. I do not want to work with someone who doesn't know how to speak to customers in a polite and positive manor. Just as I'm starting my house journey, the last thing i need is someone bringing me negative energy, and demonstrating unprofessionalism.
