My daughter was referred to Dr Ireland many years ago due to focus issues, which improved after vision therapy. He is the only optometrist she wants to see; it is unfortunate that his office in Palos closed, so we now travel to River Forest. When you wear glasses every waking hour, you learn what fit and style works best for you. There is a wide selection of frames available, and the office staff listens to what my daughter prefers and does not push the "trendy" frames just because of her age. Highly recommend this doctor and his staff.

I think Dr. Ireland is pretty wonderful. He's experienced, treats your entire situation-eye~wise, and I'm really pleased, that he was open to a chat about the front desk situation. I'd say, go for sure, and if you have any problems, let him know directly.

Dr. Ireland is the best at what he does! My husband, two sons and I all see him and his eye exam is the most thorough we've had. I've had a problem with my eye focusing while reading since childhood and he is the first Optometrist (out of many) to spot it and offer a solution. They have a great selection of trendy frames and the lovely ladies at the front desk will give you an honest opinion about what you are trying on, which I love. I can't recommend him enough!
