I met a very professional worker in the office at the distribution center that helped me through the delivery process. There were some mix ups along the way but at the end of the day the office worker and the manager on site helped me very much. I had complications with TQL, more specifically Steven Rowlett working with them, who was the broker on this load as they set the delivery date on a Saturday, in which the distribution center didn't accept deliveries on the weekends. The workers at Menards helped me greatly in sorting out a highly stressful situation. We frequently deliver here & upon picking up an empty in the empty lot we were delayed by having to flag down a yard jocky to pull out the trailer for us because it was too close to the other one. We could not even crank the landing gear because it was hitting against the other trailer. Why do these yard jocky's have to park the trailers so close together? Every trailer we saw were way too close together. There's no need for that!! They need to come up with a better system & distance for parking the trailers so that the drivers are able to come in & do their job & not have to bother the jockys & get an attitude as well. Personal at the check in window very nice and polite BUT the waiting kills me if ur drop and hook sure easy just come and go however live load not cool at all been here for 4 hours and stil waiting
