Buyers beware! This company really let us down. We made the mistake of not checking the Better Business Bureau where we would have found multiple complaints of poor business practices and an owner who was difficult to deal with if you weren't happy with the quality of the work. We made the mistake of trusting the owner Mike to be fair and reasonable. We made the mistake of not signing a contract for work to be done by Save Wood. We wanted our solid oak wood cabinets re-painted for an update look in our kitchen and paid half the total price to begin the process . BUYER BEWARE, this company is awful, their workmanship is sub-par, it takes forever to get the project done and communication with the owner is nearly impossible. They work without a contract so you have NO assurance the job will be satisfactory. I just got burned by them with absolutely no recourse. My suggestion is to go to a reputable contractor who has a contract for you to sign. This place is BAD NEWS. The only reason for a 1 star rating was to be able to post this, otherwise I wouldn't give them the time of day.Service: Cabinet painting

I inquired about cabinet refinishing on their website and got an immediate response. Mike came out to my home on 5/9. We figured we would refinish / update our cabinets in oak to match the rest of our home, but he advised us if we were planning on moving in the next 2 years to go with a different color. OK, we took that into consideration and discussed color choices. We never got a bid. I followed up with him again on 5/17 via email asking for a quote and still as of today, 5/24 NO RESPONSE. I guess because we weren't in a rush, he isn't either. Clearly, he's selective about what jobs he takes.
