During a routine exam for contacts Dr. Fitch found an indication of a possible tumor on my left retina and sent me to a specialist. I opted to go to Northwestern Medical in Chicago as I was already a patient there for an unrelated condition. Upon extensive testing Dr. Fitch's diagnosis was confirmed. Fortunately the tumor at the top of my left retina was benign but the specialists also found other tumors on the bottom of my eye which has to be monitored every 3 months for the next year to make sure they don't mutate into a rare eye cancer. I will be forever thankful for Dr. Fitch! Peoria is very fortunate to have such an outstanding doctor!
