Just had a Vibram half-sole and steel tips installed on my Alden loafers. These guys are the best I've ever worked with and have awesome customer service too.

Quality shoe repair is becoming a lost art. Thankfully I discovered Fred's. They customized a pair of wingtip boots for me with Dainite soles they had to order from England. Also used a custom color thread to match my blue soles. Couldn't be happier with the work and the awesome customer service Jarrett provided. We communicated several times over the phone and via email on this project. Just put another project in the mail today! You cant go wrong with these guys! Also on another note I am not local to Peoria, they have a great consumer friendly website to that makes the process a breeze

Fantastic experience 👌🏻 My original pair of Thursday Boots were in need of repair and I'd been putting it off because they are my go-to shoe. Jarrett made the process simple and easy - quick response time, clear explanation of the process, sent photos after the repairs, etc. When it comes time to repair the rest of my Thursday collection, I know who to contact!
