Steve used to do a good job. I don't know what happened but he excepted our tax paperwork and held on to it for 4 months and didn't say anything back until my wife and I badgered him. Then when he finally did them said he filed. We have yet to receive them and have tried contacting him yet again and once again can not get in contact with him after numerous messages from myself and my wife.
Normally I don't leave negative reviews or one at all however this man is a scam artist. I usually file my taxes at the beginning of the tax season. When I dropped off the payment and paperwork I was told I would be receiving a call if they needed anything or when it was done. Months went past and no response. I left many messages and voicemails with no luck. I eventually went to the owners place of work and he lied right to my face saying he filed them. So I got smart and contacted the IRS for my tax transcripts I figured they would show if they were filed. All I received from them was a paper stating it was never filed. Have been using The Tax Stohr for the last few years, have had no issues. Reasonable prices, I have always made an appointment and they get me in at my allotted time slot. Fast returns, pleasant and would recommend to anyone needing a good reliable business.
