We had such a great experience with Imprinted Paws that I had to share here too. Koda spent a full month in their board and train program, working closely with Val. What stood out right away was her honesty and dedication—she’s very real about the process, and you can tell she truly cares about each dog’s progress. Her depth of knowledge is seriously impressive, and she’s the kind of person who will help others without a second thought. When it was time for Koda to come home, Raegan worked with us for the transition lesson and she was incredible. She explained everything so clearly, made it feel manageable, and made sure we felt confident continuing the training at home. We’re really grateful for the time, effort, and care they put into Koda. It made a big difference for all of us 🤍
While just one week out of training, it’s clear there was a lot of time and energy put into our 4 month old puppy. I was impressed with what she learned in just three weeks and it’s clear she is quite different than when we dropped her off. The pickup lesson was great and not rushed and it has been hugely helpful as we get our puppy used to being at home again. We felt our dog was well taken care of and loved, which meant a lot.
We sent our dogs max and Maisie for a month and when they came home they’re like brand new dogs! Before taking them they would literally drag me to the ground during walks, now I can literally walk both of them with one hand. They stay when told to, they don’t try to bolt out the front door, they don’t dig, they don’t try to brake out of their cages anymore, they’re so gentle with our cats, they don’t jump on us, imprinted paws corrected everything on our check list and more! When the dogs got home Max was still a little whinny when he was in the cage at night so I called Valerie and she told me how to correct it and we’ve been able to sleep in peace for the first time in over a year! Everyone we worked with at imprinted paws has been so amazing, Amber was so informative and helped us while we were deciding what would be best for our puppies, Regan showed us everything we needed to know when we were getting ready to take them home, and Valerie assisted us with the whining at home. Literally every step of the way there was someone who confidently assisted us and the whole experience has just been amazing!
