At the risk of making it harder for me to get in when I choose, I will tell you that the float pods at The Chicago Stress Relief are second-to-none. The interactions with staff are super-positive; the rooms and showers are always clean and welcoming; and the massage therapists are also excellent. I go once a month at this point. If you've not tried floating but an environment of intentional and timed sensory deprivation that allows for a mental reset appeals to you, then this is the float to try!

First time at The Chicago Stress Relief Center and I’m hooked. I felt like a new person after a massage and time in the infrared sauna. The staff was great too! I’ll be back to try the float tank next.

I had a remarcable experience in the flotation tank! My mind became clear and tranquil. My body had unusual state of ease and comfort, feel renovated and full of refreshing energy flow. It was creative experience as well. With listening of my body sensation, I explored moving efortlessly and discovering what this special suspended state allows me to do. Contrast rain shower made all experence even more glorious. This therapy is awesome and very healing. I will definately do this regularly. Thank you, team of the CSRC!

Dr. Howard Weissman founded The Chicago Stress Relief Center, Inc. in 1994. His early vision continues by providing innovative holistically-based services that compliment traditional empirical-based psychological services. His diverse holistic-based practice integrates float therapy in state-of-the-art Ocean float rooms, clinical massage on our Biomat and far infrared sauna services. Additionally, we work with people of all ages across the lifespan focusing on individual, couples and family therapy. Stress assessments are often used to differentiate and treat OCD, PTSD, ADHD and chronic pain. CSRC is a teaching facility, which also allows us to offer sliding scale fees. We do accept Medicare.
