She is known for being clear and considerate, taking the time to explain treatment routines and answer questions. Her office staff and interns are friendly and attentive, making patients feel at ease. Annual examinations are thorough and never rushed, and Dr. Hoyer is skilled at diagnosing and treating skin conditions, including minor surgical procedures. Patients appreciate her availability, including phone and video consultations, and her commitment to providing the highest level of care.
Doctor Sheryl Hoyer is the BEST Dermatologist anywhere. Prior to her, I had gone thru the supposedly great teaching hospitals of Rush, University of Chicago and Northwestern Medicine. All of the doctors I saw at those places were uncaring, unknowledgeable and worse, not willing to learn about my uncommon conditions, and dismissive when I brought medical studies and treatment ideas to a visit. The treatments they gave me were far too conservative and my face became much more disfigured under their “care”. It was truly a low point in my life.
When I saw Doctor Hoyer for the first time I was physically and mentally a mess. I had lost all confidence in all doctors.

I am very pleased to recommend Dr Sheryl Hoyer for all of your derm needs. Dr Hoyer has given me years of excellent care. From a serious diagnosis to beautifully executed cosmetic care Dr Hoyer’s attention to detail and professional care is beyond expectation. Her knowledge in the derm field is exceptional. She cares deeply for her patients and makes you feel special when you are in her office. I want to also mention her team Holly and Ella! Both ladies are efficient, friendly, and make your time in the office very pleasant!
I highly recommend Dr. Sheryl Hoyer, who provides quality services and a good value. My neck had a few deep lines, which bothered me. Dr. Hoyer performed Radiesse hyperdilute therapy for me to stimulate collagen production. I am very satisfied with the results. Dr. Hoyer is very professional, honest, knowledgeable, and skilled. Her work team is also wonderful. During the treatment, I did not feel much pain at all, and the numbing cream helped a lot. I am amazed at how well she looks and keep asking her how she takes care of her skin.
