Scott Simpson Design + Build worked with us from the initial idea of building a new home through home completion. They were a joy to work with; fully invested in making sure the project exceeded our expectations. We never had to mediate between the architect and the builder (often a problem when it's not a design/build firm), which allowed us to stay on budget and get what we wanted design-wise. The whole team was on the same page, and worked extremely well with their subcontractors. Monthly reporting was timely, accurate and reassuring. Weekly onsite progress meetings kept us apprised/informed, and we were able to make field adjustments as necessary in a timely way....read full review
