Although my hair didn’t turn out exactly as I’d wanted, the experience I had at this salon with Mackenzie was lovely! She is incredibly kind, generous, and thoughtful. The session was relaxing, and we had great conversation. It is crystal clear how much passion she has for what she does. I really appreciate it!

Lyndi did a wicked awesome job doing a braided perm. It was the 1st time she did one and it looks amazing. For some extra braided look,because My hair is long, I braid just the front. Either over night or just a few hours. I love the hair products that she picked out to make My hair soft after a perm. Here is a pic of it after walking in the wind.

After being married for 17 years to a hair stylist I was starting to think I'd never find anyone who could style my hair nearly as well as my ex. After trying numerous salons and stylists near and far, I finally came across Kristin Long, at the Normal Smart Styles location. Kristin is a genuinely talented hair stylist who really takes the time to fully understand exactly what you want your hair to do and look, and carries it out to a tea. As long as Kristin is at Smart Styles, thats the only place I'll ever go for so much as a trim.
