In November my roof was leaking during a heavy storm and I called a couple other roofers. One would not return my call, the other made it perfectly clear they only wanted to deal with my husband because “he knows more about the roof”. I owned my house 15 years before my husband even came in the picture. My husband is a truck driver, gone all the time and I handle the household stuff. Frustrated and with a leaking roof, I searched for a 3rd roofer to call and found Ray Koonce’s information. I called Ray, explained what was going on and within an hour he had someone here tarping my roof. Ray and Mike both came out, did an estimate, went to bat for me with my insurance and kept me fully informed of everything. Unfortunately the insurance would not cover what needed done and Ray was extremely patient while I dealt with financing and getting a plan in place for the new roof. I had a complete tear off done and several boards replaced. The crew came yesterday and had everything done in 8 hours. Did an amazing job! The guys that were here working were all friendly and professional. Completely cleaned up after they were done. Ray has since checked in with me to make sure I was happy with how it turned out and to see if I had any questions. I highly recommend Ray Koonce and all the guys at HD Exteriors!! At no point has Ray, Mike or any of their crew had the “we only want to talk with your husband” attitude. They have been professional & respectful throughout the entire process!
