If your options are death and going to silver cross. Make your peace with god. Cause this place is awful. Sat in the er for 9 hrs on a tuesday after getting referred here due to my daughter breaking her arm. First intake was after two hrs and let me say, he was completely incompetent. Due to the manner in which it was broken, there was the possibility of losing her hand and permanent nerve damage. This guy says he doesnt look at xrays and put us back in the er, and we sat for another 6 hrs, until we showed the xrays to a competent person and they saw the severity and got us into an er doc in 10 mins. Better off going to stroger. No one here gives a d*mn about your care They also keep replying like they are going to contact me. They did the same when i gave zeros on my survey. They havent contacted me directly despite me doing everything they ask below. They dont care. UPDATE- 10 mths later. after blue cross paid all my other bills related to this. they are hassling me for 163 because carol L in billing doesnt want to rebill it, even though all 15k worth of the other hospital bills were paid. this place is utter TRASH.
