The salon is open evenings and weekends, with no appointment necessary, and walk-ins are welcome. The friendly staff provides great cuts, and their kindness and patience make customers feel at ease. They take the time to understand individual needs, making even the most nervous clients, like young children, feel comfortable. While there's always room for improvement, the staff does their best to ensure customers leave satisfied with their haircuts.
The stylist who eventually did my hair (ash blonde with black and white Nike shoes, wearing glasses) seemed to absolutely dislike everything about me, she was standoffish, rude, and made me feel so unwelcome that I barely spoke. I wish I’d caught her name or understood what the problem was. Overall, I felt like the staff wanted nothing to do with me, and I will never return because of how uncomfortable the entire visit made me feel.
The manager does a really good job at running the place. I come there for male haircuts, and they are the cheapest and best value Because I get the promotional card that they have at the end of every year, I highly recommend it. This place Does male haircuts, but it’s not 100% equipped like a barbershop. They can’t do things like a straight razor or a foil shaver to make sure you get a nice crisp clean cut, but they do a decent job. There’s only about two people who cut my hair there because that’s the only two people I’m uncomfortable letting touch my hair; The other stylists just aren’t very friendly. I was surprised to read about others' experiences there. I went to a salon in my hometown, and they royally messed up my hair. Ends were fried to a crisp, never finished the cut, and the salon did nothing to try to fix the situation. I went to Great Clips to get the ends cut off and shaping. She was fast, friendly and worked with me on how much to take off. I think in the end we took off around 3.5 inches. It's much better now! Thanks for being there when I needed you!
