Our siding was original to the house and looking pretty rough, so we got a few quotes before settling on RNX. What sold me was that the estimator actually walked the whole house with me and pointed out things the other companies didn't even mention, like some soft spots near the chimney that needed to be addressed before the new siding went on. The quote was detailed and broken out by line item which I appreciated because I could see exactly what I was paying for. Install took about four days. great experience overall with RNX. we had been putting off siding for years because the idea of dealing with contractors was just exhausting. these guys made it pretty painless. estimator showed up on time, gave us a real number not some teaser price, and answered the questions we had about materials. they explained to us what panel styles would look right on our style of house which honestly helped because we had no clue. install took about a week and a half. crew was the same group every day so we werent dealing with new faces constantly. the house looks like a different building from the curb now. paid what they quoted, no surprise charges at the end. nothing bad to...read full review
had this ongoing issue with a section of siding on the north side of the house that kept letting moisture in. you could see staining on the interior wall and it was getting worse every time it rained hard. tried having someone caulk it once but that didnt last. looked up siding contractors in Mount Prospect and RNX had solid reviews so we reached out. they came and looked at it and basically said the siding in that whole section needed to come off because it wasnt installed right to begin with. once they pulled it off you could see where water had been sitting behind it for who knows how long. they dried everything out put up new material and wrapped it properly this...read full review
